Question 1

What exactly is Datacrecy?

Accepted Answer

Datacrecy is a data-as-a-service platform designed for ambitious sales, marketing, and recruiting teams. We provide instant, on-demand access to a massive, pre-verified database of over 2.5 billion contact and company records. Our core mission is to solve the two biggest problems in lead generation: the high cost of enterprise data tools and the high risk of account bans from using traditional scraping tools.

Question 2

How is your data sourced and verified?

Accepted Answer

Our data quality is our obsession. We use a multi-layered approach we call the "Datacrecy Data Engine":

1. Ethical Aggregation: We source data from a vetted global network of compliant third-party data partners and publicly available information.
2. AI-Powered Verification: Our proprietary algorithms then cross-reference, deduplicate, and validate every record, using machine learning models to enrich profiles with the most accurate and up-to-date information available.
3. Continuous Refresh Cycle: Our engine works 24/7 to validate our data and remove outdated contacts, ensuring you're always working with the freshest data possible. We are targeting a 95%+ accuracy rate for verified emails at launch.

Question 3

What kind of search filters will be available?

Accepted Answer

Our goal is to give you the power to build hyper-targeted lists with ease. The MVP will launch with a comprehensive set of filters, including:

• Persona: Job Title, Role, Seniority Level, Years of Experience
• Company: Company Name, Industry, Company Size, Location (Country, State, City)
• Education: School, Degree
• Keywords: A free-text search across skills and profile summaries.

Question 4

Can I export my revealed leads?

Accepted Answer

Yes. All of our paid plans will include the ability to export your revealed leads to a clean, well-labeled CSV file, ready for you to use in your CRM or outreach tools. The free plan is designed for viewing and validation within the platform, while paid plans unlock the full export functionality.

Question 5

What makes Datacrecy different from Apollo.io or Lusha?

Accepted Answer

While we operate in a similar space, our core focus is different. Our primary differentiators are:
1. The Zero-Risk Guarantee: Our 'no-scraping' architecture is fundamentally safer than tools that rely on browser extensions.
2. Overwhelming Value: We are committed to providing significantly more data credits at every price point, making us the clear ROI leader.
3. Simplicity: We are focused on being the best data-as-a-service platform, not a bloated all-in-one tool. We give you the data you need, quickly and without a steep learning curve.

Question 6

What will the pricing be like at launch?

Accepted Answer

We are committed to providing overwhelming value. Our pricing will be simple, transparent, and significantly more generous than the competition.

• Free Plan: Every new user will receive a one-time bonus of 100 free credits to test the full power of our platform.
• Paid Plans: Our paid subscription plans will start at $39/month. Our goal is to provide 2-3x more data credits than competitors at similar price points.

Question 7

What do I get for joining the waitlist?

Accepted Answer

Joining our waitlist gives you a significant "early adopter" advantage. You will receive:

1. Early Access: You will be the first to get access to the platform before the public launch.
2. Bonus Credits: As a thank you, you will receive an extra 500 credits added to your account on top of the standard 100 free credits.
3. Launch Day Discount: You will receive an exclusive, one-time discount on your first subscription if you choose to upgrade.

Question 8

What exactly is one "credit"?

Accepted Answer

A "credit" is the currency of our platform.

• 1 Credit = 1 Full Profile Reveal.

On the free plan, a reveal unlocks a person's non-contact information (like their job title, company, and location). On any of our paid plans, a reveal unlocks everything, including their verified email address and phone number.

Question 9

Do my unused credits roll over to the next month?

Accepted Answer

For our monthly subscription plans, credits will reset at the beginning of each billing cycle. This model allows us to offer a massive number of credits at an affordable price. We will also offer one-time, non-expiring credit packs for users who need more flexibility.

Question 10

Can I cancel my subscription at any time?

Accepted Answer

Yes, absolutely. You will have full control over your subscription from your account dashboard. You can cancel at any time, no questions asked.

Question 11

How is Datacrecy safer than scraping tools? (The "No-Bans Guarantee")

Accepted Answer

This is the most important difference and the core of our architecture.

Many lead generation tools use browser extensions that perform real-time scraping of data from professional networks. This activity violates the terms of service of those networks and is the primary reason user accounts are flagged and banned.

Datacrecy does not scrape.

Our platform serves data from our own secure, static, and pre-verified database. When you perform a search, you are querying our infrastructure, not making risky requests to third-party sites through your browser. This fundamentally different approach means your professional accounts are never at risk.

Question 12

Is your data GDPR and CCPA compliant?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We are building Datacrecy with a "compliance-first" mindset. We are committed to adhering to all major data privacy regulations, including GDPR and CCPA. Our data aggregation and processing methods are designed to respect individual privacy rights, and we will provide tools for users to manage their data and opt-out of our database.

Question 13

Why do you require a work email to sign up?

Accepted Answer

We require a work email to ensure our platform is used by professionals for legitimate business purposes. This helps us prevent abuse, maintain a high-quality community of users, and allows us to enforce our fair-use policies, such as the limit of free signups per company domain. We do not support signups from free email providers like Gmail or Yahoo.

Question 14

Do I need to connect my LinkedIn or email account to use Datacrecy?

Accepted Answer

No. Unlike many other tools, Datacrecy is a standalone platform. You do not need to connect your LinkedIn, Google, or any other personal account to use our service. This is a key part of our commitment to your security and privacy.

Question 15

When do you plan to launch?

Accepted Answer

We are working tirelessly to get Datacrecy into your hands as soon as possible. We are targeting a private beta launch for waitlist members in Q3 2025. By joining the waitlist, you will be the first to receive updates and a firm launch date.
